Co-op Month 2011—is there a better time to begin getting your members and community ready for the year-long, global celebration of cooperatives that is the International Year of Cooperatives?  We agree, and so this year’s Co-op Month celebration is themed to help you kick-start your celebrations and begin leveraging the messaging and excitement of the year.

The slogan for Co-op Month 2011 is the same as that for the International Year: “Cooperative enterprises build a better world.”  This slogan conveys the contributions that cooperatives make to social and economic development.

The 2011 Co-op Month logo and other materials incorporate the slogan and the seven cooperative principles that differentiate cooperatives from other businesses.
